"Red chilli Beach Camp" is a beautiful camp located at Byasi on the river side beach on the bank of River Ganga. Expect camping where you can enjoy adventure activities like White Water rafting, Rappelling, Rock climbing, Kayaking, Hiking etc



Description

It is 30Km Passed Rishikesh on Badrinath Highway. Red Chilli Beach Camp is surrounded by lush green teak forest where you can feel the fresh air of mountains. We have very professional and dedicated staff at the camp to make sure that we meet all your expectations as an adventure camp. We can also provide yoga and meditation classes within the camp on special requests it is great peaceful place for adventure activities as well as yoga and Meditation. Red Chilli Beach Camp is a great place to be with Mother Nature, living on the banks of India's greatest river where you can re-charge your inner batteries through adventure activities, as well as yoga and meditation.

Cost Includes: One Night accommodation on twin share in Deluxe tents, All meals - Lunch, Dinner on Day 01 and breakfast on Day 02, Rock climbing, Rappelling, Tree Climbing, Kayaking, Body Surfing, Cliff jumping, 26km rafting from Marine DriveSelf bailing rafts, life jacket, helmet and paddles, rescue bag, Professional rafting guide and Safety Kayaker along with rafting trip.

Cost excludes: Any transportation to / from camp


Itinerary

  • Day 1:

    Arrive at Red Chilli Beach Camp for lunch. Once you reach the campsite, you will be received with a warm welcome by our Camp staff. After you take in the view of our camp surroundings, you will be given a short briefing by our camp Manager. He will provide you all the details about do’s and dont’s during your camping stay. After that you can have your Lunch and check into your tents. Lunch will be served at the dining area. After you finish your lunch, you can take a break, relax at the campsite and watch Mother Ganga passing by. We have activities which cater to interests of every kind of guests. Those who are in no mood to relax can play beach volleyball, do a bit of kayaking or just take a nice and easy stroll at the beach. We also have activities for folks who are more into adventure sports. There is rock climbing and rappelling available in the camp. Try your hand in the activities according to your interests. In the evening campfire will be there. Campfire session is a fun-time as you get to meet people from different walks of life and you get to share your stories with them. The fun-filled evening will be followed by a whole-some dinner. Overnight stay at camp.

  • Day 2:

    Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the fresh breeze. Tea/coffee is served at dining area at 7:00 onwards. After breakfast, you are ready for rafting. You will be picked up from the camp and transferred to Marine Drive where the rafting stretch starts. You will be provided all rafting gear (life jacket, helmet& Paddle), safety briefing by your guides and then we raft down the Ganga River. This is grade III, III+ rafting stretch and usually takes about 2-3 hours on the river (in Dec & Jan, it takes 3-4 hrs) and has about ten rapids including small and bigger ones. Some of the good rapids we run on this stretch are called Three blind mice (III+), Cross fire (III), Roller coaster (III+), Golf Course (III+), Rapids are safe to raft though there are some big waves and hydraulics. We raft down to Rishikesh which is 26 Km and go over rapids like Three Blind Mice, Cross Fire, Body surfing, Return to Sender, Roller Coaster, Golf Course, Clubhouse . and lots more. We also provide you some snacks and soft drinks on the way. It is 2-3 hours fun on the river with some good splashes and big hits. Body surfing and cliff jumping is a part of the rafting package. We end the trip near Laxman Jhula. Drive back to Red Chilli Office then depart to your own destination.


Camp details

Booking Conditions :: A 50% advance confirms space at camp and your trip with us. Balance needs to be deposited at least ten days before trip date. Miscellaneous Rates/day

HOW TO REACH RED CHILLI BEACH CAMP FROM DELHI: 260 kilometres from Delhi via Meerut Bypass - Muzaffarnagar bypass – Roorkee – Haridwar – Rishikesh. Camp lies 30 kms from Rishikesh on the road leading to Devprayag/Badrinath. Pass the villages & bridges of Shivpuri & Gular, you reach little market of Byasi. Before entering the market, you will see a sign of "RED CHILLI BEACH CAMP". Park your car there on the roadside and just follow the trail through the forest of teak wood. It will lead you to the edge from where you can see the river and camp. 5 minute downhill walk will get you to the camp on the beach.

TRAVEL LIGHT – YOU NEED TO WALK DOWN TO CAMP WITH YOUR BAGS

NOTE:

1. It is essential to travel light. Walk to camp is downhill but on way back it is uphill where it helps if you have light bags to carry. It is better if you carry soft baggage.
2. Consumption of alcohol or drugs is not permitted upto 6 hours before or on a raft trip. We will, without refund, refuse intoxicated persons. 
3. Toilets are dry pit as it is reserve forest and we are not allowed to use flush toilet. Showers are with fresh running water. 
4. All meals are served at a central dining area – including tea, coffee (twice a day) and soft drinks. There is no room service.

MEAL PLAN: We are proud of the excellent cuisine served in camp, in spite of the kitchen lacking modern facilities – the natural constraints of camping. Fresh fruits and vegetables are obtained locally. We emphasize on delicious, wholesome and hygienic meals.

BREAKFAST: Continental: Corn flakes/porridge, eggs, toast/paranthas/french toast/ AllooPuri/Chholey, butter/ Curd, jam, boiled potatoes/baked beans/french fries, fruits, tea/coffee.

LUNCH: Indian: Dal/rajma, two vegetables, Paneer item, rice (fried/plain), chapati, papad, achar, salad, fruit

EVENING SNACKS: Peanut chat and papar.

Optional: BARBECUE: Veg and Nov veg barbecue can be arranged at extra cost of Rs 300/- per person

DINNER: Indian/continental/Chinese cuisine (veg & non-veg)/ dessert

TEA BREAKS: Tea/coffee with snacks/biscuits ( Morning and afternoon).

ACCOMMODATION: Deluxe tents (beds, mattresses and quilts provided) on twin share. Each tent is furnished with 2 camp cots, a table, two cane chairs. Toilet tents have dry-pit toilets (the only toilets allowed as per Reserved Forest camping regulations) with western style commodes over a pit. We can accommodate up to 60 persons at camp.

ACTIVITIES IN CAMP: Beside rafting one could kayak on a placid stretch near the camp or opt for hike to a typical village opposite the camp or even go for longer hikes (5-6hrs) in the surrounding hills. Facilities are available for Beach games like Volleyball, Frisbee, Tennis ball cricket etc. A day in camp is rounded off with a campfire and a leisurely evening with fellow rafters.
