The world renowned Queen Elizabeth National Park is a 2000-square kilometre wonderland where wildlife comes home. The vastness of the land accommodates a host of activities and ecological zones that allow for the most natural and remarkable interplay of wildlife. From Lions to Chimpanzees and Savannahs to rich rivers, Queen Elizabeth National Park literally has it all. There is good reason why the national park is home to such myriad wildlife - Lake George marks its north-eastern edge while Lake Edward falls to the south-west edge of the national park. The Kazinga channel also connects both these lakes, making for a perennial and lush source of water that attracts and supports a variety of wildlife, truly depicting the beauty of Africa. This adventure is a combination of a game drive (safari) and a boat cruise that promises an exceptional experience in the hotspots of the Queen Elizabeth National Park.


  • Day 1 - Transfer from Entebbe International Airport / Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park (417 Kms)

    Beginning your adventure at Kampala in the morning, you will finish breakfast and head westwards to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Passing through Uganda’s beautiful green countryside, the 420KM journey will take about 7 hours to finish. Enroute to Queen Elizabeth National there will be small stopovers at spots of tourist interest. The Royal Drum maker’s village and the equator are spots you definitely should not miss. Continuing your drive through savannah grasslands and plenty of herds of the endemic long horned ankole, you will reach Queen Elizabeth National Park by evening. The day comes to an end with a delicious dinner and overnight stay at the accomodation of your choice. Rest well, the next day is full of action.

  • Day 2 - Game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park

    Your day will begin early by 6:30AM, the sunrise time is usually the best time to spot animals in their natural habitats. Heading off for a game drive at the break of dawn you will be able to see Africa’s highly famed “Big 5”, Bush Bucks, Giant Hogs, Antelopes, Waterbucks and plenty of birds. You will finish your game drive and return back to the accommodation just in time for a good and relaxing breakfast. In the afternoon, post lunch you will head out for a boat cruise along the stunning Kazinga channel. Cruising the channel at close proximity animals, you will be able to spot hippos, Buffalos, Crocodiles and Elephants bathing on the channel’s banks. After completing your boat cruise, you will head back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 3 - Second game drive and transfer back to Entebbe International Airport / Kampala

    The final day of your adventure in Uganda will begin by 6:30AM. Heading out for a short game drive after breakfast, you will continue driving towards Entebbe/ Kampala. In the course of the drive, you will be passing through Lake Mburo National Park which offers great opportunity to sight zebras, Impalas and Uganda Kobs. The last stop will be Entebbe International Airport and this is where you bid your team farewell.

  • Cancellations between 0-2 days before the adventure date - no refund
  • Gorilla and Chimp permits and flight tickets are excluded from percentages above and are 100% non-refundable
