  • Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe International Airport to Kibale Forest

    On your arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met by driver guide who will brief you about your tour and then depart for Kibale Forest National Park which will take around five and a half hours of drive. The park is popular for its primate’s population like the chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, red cheeked monkeys and red tailed monkeys. On your chimpanzee trails, these are regularly seen swinging in the forest trees and others feeding on the wild fruits. Your lunch will be en route and then you proceed to Kibale National Park. Upon arrival, check in your accommodation, have enough rest. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be provided at

  • Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest transfer to Queen Elizabeth

    Kibale Forest National Park boasts the highest number of primate species in the world, including the chimpanzees. Approximately 5,000 chimpanzees live in the wild in Uganda, which makes it a perfect place to spot them! An experienced ranger will take you chimp tracking in the morning. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will have a full hour with them. You will return to the lodge for lunch after which you will head out for Queen Elizabeth National Park which will take around two hours of drive. You will arrive in the evening.   • Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park

    After having an early breakfast, you will proceed to the Katwe crater drive. You will enjoy the spectacular crater drive that runs on 27 km stretch which presents distant sights of the stunning crater lakes while on your way. There is plenty of wildlife to see along the drive, although commonest are sights of Buffaloes plus Elephants. Also, along this drive you will be rewarded with sights of the great Western Rift Valley plus its escarpments, Lake George, the Rwenzori Mountains of the Moon, the Kazinga Channel and Lake Edward. Return to your accommodation for lunch. After your lunch you will go for a two-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes George and Lake Edward and you will surely be fascinated by the concentrations of giant hippos, elephants and crocodiles among others.   • Day 4: Transfer from Queen Elizabeth through Ishasha to Bwindi Impenetrable NP

    After having breakfast, you then set off for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Isasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park which will take around six hours of drive – famously known for its resident tree-climbing lions. If you are lucky, you will have the chance to catch the sight of the king and queens of the jungle up in the tree. Hoping you get lucky, the sight will be spectacular! Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a big habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda; harbouring an estimated 400 mountain gorillas – roughly half of the world’s population, including several habituated groups, which can be tracked. Its mist-covered hillsides are blanketed by one of Uganda's oldest and most biologically diverse rain-forests, which dates back over 25,000 years and contains almost 400 species of plants. With a strenuous day ahead, you will check into your accommodation, relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the following day.   • Day 5: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and optional community visit

    After an early morning breakfast, walk to the park headquarters for briefing on the do's and don’ts during gorilla tracking and thereafter you will proceed to the gorilla trail. Gorilla tracking normally lasts between 2 to 8 hours or even a day to encounter the gorillas. However, you will be allowed to stay in the presence of these awesome apes for at least an hour. It is advisable that you carry packed lunch, which will be provided, as one cannot determine how long it may take to encounter the mountain gorillas. If time and energy allow, you may take an optional community walk after the gorilla tracking or just have a relaxed afternoon. Enjoy your evening, dinner and overnight at the accommodation at

  • Day 6: Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

    The drive will be through a beautiful part of the country often referred to as ‘the Switzerland of Africa’ because of its unique cool weather despite being near the Equator. This lake is said to be one of the most beautiful places in western Uganda. It is the second deepest lake in Africa [900 meters deep] and also one of the few places in the country where it is considered safe to swim as it is bilharzias free. You will take a canoe ride on this lake and hike to different view-points before returning for Dinner and overnight will be at

  • Day 7: Transfer from Bunyonyi to Kigali city tour before departure

    After breakfast we transfer to Kigali for a city, shall have all the proposed sites shared by our driver guide and you have the liberty to choose which you prefer to visit and which should be eliminated from the list. Engage with you driver guide concerning your interests while on this tour but remember all your requests must be realistic and within the city. The Kigali city tour takes you to the major historical and cultural sites of Rwanda. You will visit Kandt house or museum of natural history where Dr. Richard Kandt the first German colonial resident of Rwanda resided. His residence at the base of Mount Jali and Mount Kigali in the heart of the city is now the Natural History Museum in honor of his work, and is one of the stops on the tour. This can take about 1 hour in total depending on how you engage the museum guide about what you are learning about Kigali and Rwanda in general. We proceed with the guided tour of Kigali genocide memorial site commemorating the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. We have opportunities to visit the craft centers where you are able to purchase souvenirs from your stay in Rwanda in turn supporting families of the women involved in making the items. Lunch will be at a local restaurant where you will have a taste of Rwandan traditional food. You are free to choose a cosmopolitan restaurant for a more diverse menu. Later you will be transferred to Kigali Airport to fly out.
