Lord Curzon made the trek to Kuari pass, and since then it has come to be known as Curzon's trail. It is very popular among European and American Travelers. In 1905 Lord Curzon reached Kauari pass from Ghat via Ramni. The main attraction of Curzon's trails is the majestic view of the twin peaks of Nanda Devi, Kamet (7756 m), which is the second highest peak of Garh-wal, Abi Gamin (7355 m), Chowkhamba (7138 m), Neel Kanth (6596 m), Trishul (7125 m), Nanda Ghunti (6309 m) and many more have an impressive and unforgettable view on our route.


  • Day 1:

    Arrive Delhi Upon arrival in Delhi, where you will be met and transfered to your hotel. Overnight: Hotel

  • Day 2:

    Delhi - Haridwar train Morning transfer to the railway station to board the fast train to Haridwar (5 hrs train journey). Arrive Haridwar and transfer to the hotel. In the evening visit the Bank of river Ganges to see the evening prayer ceremony. Overnight: Hotel

  • Day 3:

    Haridwar to Għat drive (223 km, 7-8 h) After morning breakfast, Start the journey towards Għat. The starting point for our walk is about an hour's drive north of Għat. We arrive to a beautiful campsite beside a river at about 1400 m and dinner. Overnight: Camp.

  • Day 4:

    Għat - Ramni (2250 m) trek After breakfast, we are of the first day's hike. We will go a relatively short distance but with much pitch, so it is a relatively tough start. Lunch we eat along the way and we reach the camp in the vicinity of Ramni (2250 m) after about 8 km. Overnight: Camp

  • Day 5:

    Ramni - Jhenjipani (1524 m) trek Today's hike takes us to a place just above the village Jhenjaipani. Initially, we take us a few hundred meters of elevation up with beautiful snow-capped mountains in the distance. Then we go down and go through rhodedenronskogar to our night camp, which is around 1700 meters. Total we walk about 13 km. Overnight: Camp

  • Day 6:

    Jhenjipani - Panarani (2043 m) trek After breakfast we walk to Panarani (2043 m) and we walk about 12 km. First we go down, and passes through the village Jhenjaipani, immersed in a river valley and passing over a suspension bridge. Then wear it up again against Panarani and we kind camp just outside the village. Overnight: Camp

  • Day 7:

    Panarani - Senatoli (3200 m) trek Today's hike takes us to Senatoli (3200 m) and we walk about 17 km. Overnight: Camp

  • Day 8:

    Senatoli - Dakvani - Kuari Pass (4200 m) - Tali (3100 m) (B, L, D) This is the day when we go over Kuari Pass (4200 m) via Dakvani. Up from the pass, we have a magnificent view over the Indian Himalayas including Nanda Devi, Kamet, Chaukhamba, Trishul, Dronagiri and Hathi-Ghodi Parvat peaks and this gives us time to stop a blow before we walk on to Tali. Overnight: Camp

  • Day 9:

    Tali - Auli (2750 m) trek and drive to Rudraprayag (4 hrs) (B, L) After breakfast we walk to Auli (2750 m) and it is about 15 km hike. Auli is a ski resort in winter where many Indians go during the summer to enjoy the clean, cool air and to say the least, impressive scenery. From Auli drive to Rudraprayag. Overnight: Hotel

  • Day 10:

    Rudraprayag - Rishikesh (140 Km/4 hrs) (B) Morning after breakfast drive to Rishikesh. Arrive Rishikesh and check into Ashram. Collect at Yoga & Meditation hall, where the yoga teacher will give you the briefing about the Yoga, culture & religion. In the evening participate in the prayer ceremony at bank of Ganges. Overnight: Hotel

  • Day 11:

    Rishikesh - Haridwar (25 km drive) and train to Delhi (B) Morning free in Rishikesh. Late afternoon transfer to the Haridwar railway station to board the fast train to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to the hotel. Overnight: Hotel

  • Day 12:

    Delhi - Agra drive (B) After breakfast drive to Agra (210 Km/4 hrs). Arrive Agra and check into hotel. Later visit wonder of Taj Mahal "The Monument of Love" built by Shah Jahan. The Taj is a white marble memorial to his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. This monument took 22 years to be completed and was designed, and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its stunning design balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted particularly for its elegant domes, intricately carved screens and some of the best inlay work ever seen. Later visit the Agra Fort. Overnight: Hotel.

  • Day 13:

    Agra - Delhi drive (210 Km/4-5 hrs) (B) Morning after breakfast drive to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to the airport to board the onward flight.
